Recovery International is hosting a conference in Oak Brook, Illinois to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The main conference day will be Friday, April 30th, 2027 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and will include a keynote speech, break-out sessions, and lunch.
For RI Members and conference sponsors, there will be a reception on Thursday, April 29th from 4 - 7 p.m. There will also be an opportunity to visit RI's office and a Memories Room with Dr. Low's desk, typewriter, pipe, and historical documents.
Optional RI Meetings will be held before and after the reception and conference.
On Saturday, May 1, 2027, a day bus trip will leave from the hotel and take participants to historic RI sites, including the Special Collections and University Archives at the Library of the Health Sciences-Chicago, University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where Dr. Low’s papers are housed; the last brownstone in downtown Chicago where RI had offices; The Berghoff, Dr. Low’s favorite restaurant, for a buffet lunch; then Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL, where Abraham and Mae Low are buried.

- The Conference on Friday and the Thursday Reception for RI Members: $100 (includes RI member benefit)
- The Conference on Friday and the Thursday Reception for Non-Members: $140 (includes a one-year RI membership)
Bus Tour of RI Chicagoland sites on Saturday, May 1, 2027 (includes lunch and tips)
- $125 for RI Members and traveling companions
- $150 for non-RI Members
Note: All meals are buffet style so you can choose foods that work for you. If needed, select the gluten-free or vegan option on the registration form.
